Now Hiring: PPC Account Manager

£23k – £30k Depending on Experience

The Role

Looking to take your PPC career to the next level? We’re looking for a PPC Account Manager with proven experience in developing and delivering awesome paid advertising strategies across the Google and Microsoft channels (including Search, Shopping, and Display Campaigns), and via paid social channels such as Facebook and LinkedIn.

Your primary role will be to work directly with, and on behalf of, our awesome customers whose businesses span a variety of different industry sectors including (but not limited to) holiday cottages, electrical goods, lighting, and safety equipment suppliers. Your primary focus is making sure they feel valued, supported and happy, and making sure their accounts are well managed and delivering positive results.

A big part of the role is managing existing campaigns. On a daily basis you’ll analyse data, optimise campaigns, as well as keeping in touch regularly with your clients to keep them up to date on campaign progress, making sure their account continues to accurately reflect their business.

While the role is largely client and campaign management, there will be opportunities to get stuck in and help the wider business. There will be ongoing opportunities to support our internal marketing and business development functions, and you will be a part of our quarterly business planning meetings which continue to help shape the direction the business is going in.

The Individual

We’re looking for enthusiastic people who are comfortable managing their own time, are able to work effectively both independently and as a team, able to prioritise work and recognise problems and opportunities to seek support as necessary.

You should have at least 1 years of PPC experience in an agency or 2 years in-house. Whilst you don’t have to have experience across all channels, experience across a variety of platforms is desirable.

Strong written and verbal communications are paramount, as well as confidence in dealing with people at a range of different levels. You should be comfortable analysing the data from our campaigns and weaving this into narratives that our customers will not only understand but appreciate.

When not knee-deep in spreadsheets and dashboards you’ll be spending time keeping our customers in the loop. It kinda goes without saying that you’ll bring an energy and enthusiasm to any customer-facing communications. We want our customers to love you!

You will be optimising your campaigns based on data; so whilst you don’t have to be a maths genius, being comfortable with numbers is a necessity. Similarly, logic and reasoning skills are a must if you’re to effectively tackle a potential minefield of problems in a successful way.

Finally, and crucially – passion, ambition and curiosity are all great traits in any candidate as they demonstrate your ability to be a good team-player who will contribute to our ongoing success.
